Brysen Optical Corporation has a variety of custom tooled vacuum systems to meet a myriad of customer requirements. Our engineering expertise can assist in the development and production of optical, electro-optical and laser coatings. We offer the following:
- Experience in the entire spectrum of UV, Visual, NIR and IR coatings on a multitude of different substrate materials, including silicon, germanium, zinc sulfide and selenide, sapphire and quartz. Our optical coating design capabilities allow us to develop a coating to meet your exact requirements. Please e-mail your requirements for a prompt reply and quotation.
- Our systems are equipped with Ion Assist for low temperature depositions resulting in coatings with enhanced durability to severe environmental exposure.
- In house machining capability allows us to fabricate any necessary tooling for prototype or production quantities.
- Residual Gas Analyzers allow for in-situ monitoring of the deposition.
- Edge coatings for hermetically sealed devices on a variety of substrate materials.
- Metallic coatings, including our proprietary silver with exceptional durability

- Bandstop filters – selectively block a specified spectral band & transmit wavelengths on either side
- Edge filters – block short wavelengths & pass long or vice-versa
- Dichroics – reflect specified spectral bands & transmit others
- Partially transmissive / reflective – beamsplitters or density filters
- Edge metalization - for soldering and hermetically sealing applications
- Patterned metalizations – creates electronic circuit paths which can be soldered to
- Dark mirror coatings – low reflection, absorbing coatings
- Durability coatings – provide a harder surface
- Mirror coatings – Alunimum, Silver, Chrome & Gold. Overcoated for durability & enhanced for reflectivity at specified wavelengths
- HEA – High Efficiency Anti-Reflection – multi-layer coatings for broad band, low-reflection requirements
