Reticles and Photolithographic Patterning
As a major contractor to the military, we stock over 2000 different reticle patterns. Small quantities are often available from stock. Larger quantities are usually deliverable within 6-8 weeks. Patterns of varying complexity are produced using photomask technology on flat or curved surfaces.
Etch & Fill
- Etch & Fill reticles are a specialty at Brysen Optical Corporation. Line widths from .008mm to .400mm in white, black or red filling material can be reproduced on a wide variety of substrates. If necessary, these reticles can be coated with any of our various antireflective, reflective or dichroic coatings.
Dielectric
- Dielectric reticles involve state of the art combination of reticle and vacuum coating techniques. Reticles can either be light or dark field and can be combined with our AR coatings or electronic circuitry. The reflection and transmission characteristics of these reticles can be custom designed. For example, part of a pattern may be comprised of tin oxide while other features can be coated for high reflectivity, low reflectivity or selective color filtering.
Metallized
- Metallized reticles can also be light or dark field. Patterns may be comprised of evaporated chrome, gold, silver and/or aluminum. Metallized patterns can also be applied to etch & fill, and dielectric reticles.
Photoemulsion
- Photoemulsion reticles provide a low cost alternative for high volume jobs. Emulsion reflection does not exceed 5% through the visible spectrum. For telescopes, microscopes, and night vision reticles or sub assemblies, Brysen Optical Corporation offers a complete facility to handle optical fabrication, reticle and thin film application, and assembly of military and commercial optics.
LED
- Brysen Optical is currently producing a wide range of LED reticles for military applications. Modular in design, reticle assemblies are available in custom or standard patterns with broad or narrow-band emission. Dual wavelength dichroic designs are also available.
- All reticle assemblies meet temperature shock, humidity, and mechanical shock specifications.
